50,000 documents a day — and every one on paper

DHL’s Swedish branch produces over 50,000 bills, debtor lists, and dispatch documents every day. They asked Nextway to automate, process, and optimise that volume.

Pre-printed forms, physical filing, and constant change

DHL dispatches for many different types of clients, each with their own document requirements. Those documents change and update constantly. In the old system, all transport documents were filled out by hand on special, pre-printed forms that then needed physical filing. That process had to go.

12 million documents, accessible from anywhere

Next now makes DHL’s 12 million documents accessible in digital format. Employees locate and download the documents they need from wherever they are.

€15–100 saved per invoice

According to Janne Eriksson, Executive Sales Manager at Nextway Sweden, companies like DHL save €15–100 per invoice with electronic invoice handling — primarily through time savings and optimised work processes. For electronic document handling more broadly, the savings typically amount to €15–80 per document.
