Next for insurance operations

Handle more claims. Find every document.

Next automates intake, classification, and casework from every channel into one audit-ready archive, without replacing your core systems.

Trusted by insurers for 40+ years

What's actually slowing your team down?

Most teams are not slow because their people are slow. They are slow because documents live in too many disconnected systems.

The same data, entered 3 times a day.

Manual re-entry and repetitive handoffs between systems keep cost per claim high and push automation further away.

5 systems. No complete picture.

Claims handlers search email, core systems, file shares, and local drives before they have a full view of a single case.

Straight-through processing starts well, then stalls.

Standard cases move automatically. Then a document arrives in the wrong format, from the wrong channel, and the workflow stops.

The audit trail has gaps.

When documents are scattered, no one can prove what was kept, deleted, or accessed. That fails audits under GDPR, Solvency II, and DORA.

One backbone, from intake to archive.

Next runs on top of the core systems you already have, connecting each step in one place.

One complete view of every case.

Next consolidates documents from every channel into a single, searchable case record, so handlers stop switching systems and start resolving cases.

Exceptions get resolved, not parked.

Next routes exceptions to the right person, with full context attached, so nothing falls through and nothing waits.

Compliance that doesn't cost you weekends.

Next enforces retention, access, and audit rules automatically, so your archive holds up under GDPR, Solvency II, and DORA.

Every vendor promises easy.

Nextway promised easy, and delivered exactly that.

Connect your core systems in days, not months.

Next has pre-built connectors for the systems you run, keeping integration fast and disruption low.

Don't see your system? We also support file-based and API integrations. Talk to a Next specialist about integration options.

Everything you need to run document work at scale.

Start with one product. Add more when your operation is ready.

Compliance is built in, not bolted on.

Audit-ready by default

Next logs each document action and metadata change. When a regulator asks, the evidence is already there.

Retention periods you set once

Configure deletion rules per document type, and Next enforces them automatically, consistent across every line of business.

Access controlled and documented

Role-based permissions and access logging ensure only authorized staff reach sensitive content. Every handling decision stays visible and auditable.

Ready for GDPR, Solvency II, and DORA

Right to be forgotten, data portability, consent management, and legal hold are part of Next. In place from day one, across every process.

AI needs clean data. Most archives aren't ready.

The organizations seeing real results from AI aren't the ones who move fastest. They're the ones who got their archive in order first.

Start with the archive, not the algorithm.

AI can't work with scattered content. Next structures and governs your archive, so pilots reach production instead of stalling.

Every AI decision, traceable to its source.

When a regulator asks why a claim was auto-decided, show the documents the model saw and the rules it followed. Not a black box.

Why insurers stay with us for decades.

We know insurance, not just software.

The people behind Next understand claims, compliance, and how an insurer actually runs. We're not a vendor learning your business at your expense.

Built by us. Supported by us.

The team that writes the code is the team that answers your call. No resellers, no handoffs, just people who know your setup.

Standard products mean fewer surprises.

Next is configured to your environment, not custom-built. You get a faster, lower-risk implementation, and a product that improves with every release.

Shaped by insurers like you.

Every release reflects what insurers running Next actually ask for. Join them in the Next Insurance User Group, and help steer where Next goes.

FAQ

What insurers often ask us.

Does Next replace our core insurance system?

No. Next runs alongside your existing systems. It connects to your core platform, CRM, and other applications, so your teams work from one place without replacing what already works.

Which systems does Next integrate with?

Next has pre-built connectors for Salesforce, Sapiens IDIT, and Microsoft, and uses REST APIs, URL linking, and SSO standards including Kerberos, SAML, and OAuth.

How long does implementation take?

Storebrand Helseforsikring launched a fully integrated archive in 3 months. Next is a standard product, meaning no custom builds and no lengthy configuration projects.

What happens to our existing documents during migration?

Your documents move into Next while daily operations keep running. We've been migrating insurer archives for decades, including consolidating several legacy systems into one, with nothing lost in the move.

Where is our data stored?

Next runs fully on Microsoft Azure, with data residency in Europe. Your data stays inside that environment, mirrored across datacenters and backed up nightly.

Are we locked in?

No. At any point, you can export everything in Next to standard XML and take it with you.

What does support look like after go-live?

Nextway provides a structured service after go-live, covering troubleshooting, monitoring, and user adoption. Not a handover and goodbye. Your team has a direct line to us, not a ticket queue.

Can we start with one product and expand later?

Yes. Most insurers start with Next eCMS or Next Mailroom and add products as automation needs grow. Each product works on its own and adds capabilities without starting over. LB Forsikring began with Next eCMS and has expanded over 15 years.
